I noticed that the volume for Gravis Ultrasound is very low in Zone 66, I use 'mixer gus 1000' to get it to the expected level. Is this an issue with this specific game or possibly with one of my DOSBox settings?

Tried Raptor, Jazz Jackrabbit CD and GUS MIDI demo and volume seemed ok there, if still a bit lower maybe than sb16 emulation.

I'm running SVN r3991.

Seems to be a quirk of the game, and not the only one for GUS: in the registered version you have to copy/rename ZIM02.Z66 to ZIM2.Z66 to get the GUS intro music to work...

Ok, thanks for confirming. Already had the xms/ems false and fixed cycles setting for this game, I'll add this to the list. Incidentally just found out about the file naming error as well after replacing my shareware copy with a retail CD one.
