Hi
I have a problem with my old 486 PC. A few days ago I installed a "new" graphic card S3 Trio 64 2MB Diamond Stealth and now I have a problem when I want to turn it off. When attempting to turn it off the black screen shows up and information sign about graphic card. I tried to push any buttons but nothing happens, PC freeze and doesn't respond at all.

CPU : 486DX4 100Mhz
Windows 95+ SP1
Philips 170S LCD

Maybe something wrong with the memory on the card?
Do you know for sure that the card works?

Maybe a resource conflict with something else in the PC?
Have you tried removing everything but keyboard and video card to see if the computer boots?

My guess is ACPI shutdown isn't working right. The system is shut down, but for whatever reason it displays the video bios information instead of the "Your computer is safe to turn off" thing.

Ok, i think that i know what is wrong. The APM(Advanced Power Management) on bios is disable . I think that will be the reason of my problem, unfortunately i cant chek it because my battery on motherboard is dead and i cant save settings 😢
