my name is marc, i'm very new here, and very new with DOSBox,
So, i need some help to startup,
I searched the forum but did not find some answers.

I like to replace my old 486 DOS computer with QB45 app. who i need every day.
So, i have a laptop running WIN8.1 64 bits.

I downloaded DOSBox 0.74 and installed it
i added a subdir on C:\DOSBOX
and added inside C:\DOSBOX\QB45

and i mounted in DOSBOX drive C:

I can start dosbox
i can start qb45
and can run my qb45 app

but for this app. i need codepage 437 (graphic characters)

and added under the autoexec

MODE CON CODEPAGE SELECT=437

and the answer of dosbox on startup = Illegal command: MODE.

can someone help me here

sorry i forgot some stuff:

under [dos]
I setup keyboardlayout=fr120
and is working well.
