Recently i got an old Fujitsu Amilo M3438G from a friend who was getting rid of his old stuff, it has the following specs:

Pentium M 750 1.86 GHz
2 GB DDR2 533
Intel 915PM Chipset
Seagate 100 GB 5400 rpm SATA HDD
nVidia Geforce Go 6800 256 MB (MXM)
17 inch screen 1440x900
Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG
4400 mAh 8 cell battery (dead)
ExpressCard 54 slot

I tried testing the laptop, but when i ran CPU-Z, i found out the CPU is locked at 800 MHz even when strssing the CPU and hevvy loads, there any solution on this? i once tried RMClock on a similar laptop to force at full CPU clock, but turns off after some hevvy load, and i have the feeling it will happen on this laptop as well. Does the dead battery has to be realted with that issue?

Also, do i need a new charger? i found out the laptop requiers 20v 6A when my universal charger only does 20v 4.75A

If someone does know a fix, please tell me. This laptop seems to be a good Pentium M laptop, especially equiped with the Geforce Go 6800
