I'm looking to upgrade my 386 from 1Mb (now via 44256 chips, which will be pulled and placed onto a video board instead) to 4Mb (plus 1Mb via SIPPS) - Any idea where I can get 41000 DRAM from?

Yes, just like those!

Looks like an expensive upgrade... I suppose I can try to get away with 18 of them for 2Mb + 1Mb via SIPP, and I'll try to mix-mode it with the 44256 chips I already have. Now I will look on allegro and other Eastern European eBay-like things for similar items.
