I never was able to get this working. No menu comes up when right clicking on a dos executable,

In fact, right clicking any executable causes all my system tray icons to disappear for about 5 seconds then reload. If I right click an executable in a folder, all folders close out instantly, and my icons disappear for 5 seconds.

Can you help me please? Uninstalling, Reinstalling, rebooting doesn't work.

To clarify, if I were to right click on say "my computer" or "recycle bin" icons, I get a menu for options (open, explore, properties, etc.)

But right clicking on any icon that is executable such as "jaggedalliance.exe", or even previously working icons such as "windows media player" or "adaware", causes all the desktop icons to disappear for 5 seconds and reload.

Happens even when I right click an application from the Start -> Programs

It's like the computer doesn't know what to display as a menu for executables, so it crashes. This happens with VDMsound installed or uninstalled. I just want my right click back.

WinXP newer system.

Okay I did get one game, Jagged Alliance to run. I only get a right click menu to appear on batch files (.bat). It allows me to select "run with VDMS"

Any executable (.exe) file still crashes when I right click.
