So clueless is helping me find out if my tuv-x works by trading me for a celeron-128 and if the board works should I aim for the celly or the p3? I'll be pairing it with my ti4200

IMO, P3-1400S is the crown of the Pentium 3 line (I wouldn't overclock it due to running out of spec). But I think raw performance, a Celeron-A 1.2@1.6 is better.

See this thread for some Tualeron vs Tualatin comparisons . In 3Dmark 2001, an underclocked P3-1400S @1050 MHz is faster than a Celeron 1300 .
