Both have real opl yamaha chips from what i can tell. Just need to know if there better then all the value sb16's i have.

Right hand one appears to be a diamond multimedia pro16 - seen the K2Y-PRO16 under another brand here

The Opti chip is the controller. The code below the word Opti indicates the revision. My guess is that both will say '82C930'. Search vogons with that keyword for more info.

The Opti cards are pretty nice.

I've had an Opti 930 based card with real OPL3 and built in wavetable for over 20 years now.

Great DOS compatibility and never gave me any problems whatsoever when I was using it.

The CS4231 and 4248 (updated version) are both quality codecs, so the cards should be fairly noise free.
