I found this old machine abadoned and rescued it recently. It's a P4-1.6 with integrated sound and NIC, and a GF2MX-200 for a video card.

The problem is, I can't find the old Windows 95/98 drivers for it anywhere!
Does anyone have a stash of drivers?

It looks like this:

It has a Windows XP Home sticker on it, but I think this came out before XP in 2001? Maybe just on the line... There should be 98 drivers.

I've tried the few gateway recovery CD's on archive.org, but no luck yet...

I think these may have used Intel desktop boards with Gateway BIOS? That may be easier...

I managed to figure out that the board is an Intel D845PT. The network, chipset, and video drivers all work, but no audio. There is still an errant "Multimedia Device" that has no driver, so it's mute... 🙁

Thanks, I was able to override with this driver (it refused to match it automatically) and it works for Windows audio, but not in DOS. I guess I will need to put an old ISA sound card in here for DOS...
