I downloaded Railroad Tycoon Delux while looking for the original Railroad Tycoon. I was successful at playing the game until I started exploring the keyboard map (Ctrl + F1). The keyboard stops working once you leave the game (Alt + TAB). I have searched the keyboard map for anything that looked out of place. But I'm at a loss of where to look. I noticed the problem when I started trying to use the F1 or F4 keys to switch between maps.

If any of you would be kind to explain where to find what you need to see to figure out why the wireless keyboard I'm using has suddenly stopped work, please list the details for me to find and copy and paste over the overall scope.
