Have you tried all the different shortcuts ?
Guardian of the Sacred Five Terabyte's of Gaming Goodness
i am running driver 45.23 also tried 56.64, the game runs at exactly 4fps when running fraps.
I am using the latest DX version 9. I have tried all the shortcuts. Also Expandable another rage game runs at 4fps also
That's very strange, I have a machine that matches closely yours:
Pentium 4 2.26
768MB
FX 5200
Windows XP
Expandable with everything enabled and maxxed out at 1280x1024 get 35FPS with Fraps
Incoming with everything enabled and maxxed out at 640x480 (can't set higher res) 28FPS with Fraps
I'm using the last XP driver (125.something), maybe it's something related to your motherboard, because the drivers you've used are more compatible with older games.
P.S.: I've used the demo versions of these two games.
