I got my hands on gateway 2000 486/33.

I found a card that I don’t know what it is for or what it is, also interested on what’s under the floppy drive

naa, nothing yet...

Can't see the connector on the back of the card, but the dimension from the top looks like 9-pin serial.

The drive under the 3 1/2" floppy looks like a tape drive.

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

Looks like an active ISDN card to me.

That card definitely looks telecom-related. I'd agree with derSammler, probably, except that I don't often see DB-9 connectors for ISDN. OTOH, I haven't seen that much ISDN hardware. It could be a T1 or E1 interface too, possibly.

Alas, I'm down to emulation.

DB-9 connectors for ISDN were very common for high-end cards. All ISDN cards from Hermstedt for example (known for their Leonardo line of cards) used that connector.

Could be token ring as well, but those were usually prominently branded.
