I have a amd 2000+xp computer with 512mb ddr ram, gforce 4 mmx440 video card and soundblaster 5.1 surround sound card. I have tried to run an old game on my computer using vdm sound but have run into a problem mainly that when i run the program i get a list of the sound card i have selected, the ports i have selected for use with my sound card then -1 after the list then follows the bad command or file name statement. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be amazingly appreciated.
