Almost finished building a 486SX PC, and am curious about what is the newest game it can run. My guess is DOOM '93 or DOOM II: Hell on Earth, judging by the fact it's a 486SX + AcuMOS AVGA1 (budget card from early '92). Anyone have any ideas?

Graphic adventures were famously able to run well on very slow machines. Something like Space Quest VI (1995) should run fine on it. Check other Sierra and Lucas Arts games from 1994-5

RCR requires a decent FPU (no SX) and more of a late DX4 so that's a no-go.
