Like a lot of others I am having trouble using discworld 2 in win XP. Basically ive arrived at the point where I can run the program windows if i right clikc on the file and choose the 256 color compatability mode however the sound is crappy. So I tried VDMSound but the 256 mode doesnt seem to be in operation and the video is no good however the sound is much improved. I've tried using dosbox and it made the game unplayably slow. So does anyone know how I can make VDMsound use 256 mode? Im at my wit's end.
