Hi all...
I have a simple question. How do I set a value on a PC, if I want to swap with something Amiga?
I mean... How do I figure out what it would be worth in terms of an recapped Amiga?
Do I use eBay to figure out the corresponding value in terms of hardware and not money, or something else?

The reason is, that I am beginning to get low on space, and need to thin out stuff that I know I am not
going to use, and yeah... An Amiga (500/500+/1200) takes up less space than ATX machine's.

If you care about the value, you better sell and buy instead. If you want to swap, you just say what you have and what you want for it. Value shouldn't matter much when swapping.

You can easily swap a fully working retro PC from the 486/P1 era with an A500(+). If you want a A500+ with no battery damage, you'd better make sure the retro PC has a Voodoo card. 😉 As for an A1200, I doubt anyone would give you one in exchange for an old PC. Even if they would equal in value, an A1200 is always much harder to get.

An Amiga is going to be pricey regardless but don't be quick to dump an system due to space issues should you give up something only to regret it later.

Yeah... I know that Amiga's are expensive. I only want to check what people here think are aprox the same value.
486 systems is something that I have 4 of. And those are the ones that I would rather not give up.
As for systems that I can give up, I have these two following systems, just to give something that you all can relate to.
What kind of Amiga, would these two systems specifically be worth in terms of Amiga computers?

System 1:
- Gigabyte GA-5AX revision 4.1
- K6-III-400 (standard edition)
- 128mb Ram
- TNT2-Pro (Asus v3800 model)
- Voodoo2 12mb SLI (yes two V2's)
- AWE-64 Gold

System 2:
- Intel D815eea2
- Pentium3 933
- 512mb Ram
- TNT2-Pro
- Yamaha YMF-724

These are the two systems that I have in mind. The thing is, that the P3 is a no brainer.
It is basically worth an Amiga 500 (not 500+) or something like that.
Yet the K6-III system... That is were it is getting extremely hard to figure out for me.

I do have space for what I have. The thing is that it is so cluttered and there are so little space left, that I am using more time digging stuff out to that I want to play with, than actually having of time to use the stuff. Mostly it is just sitting around and never being used. Some systems have not even been powered on for like 1 year.
