Well, im running windows 2000, and tomb raider works with sound (which is quite impressive in its own right) but it runs alot slower than it should be. Are there any options/commands that will increase the speed?

Sometimes i can run tomb raider right through windows and it runs really nicely like it should, seeing as its an old dos game and doesnt have much in the way of system requirements. Of course running it through windows without vdm, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Its not the same without sound anyway.

But when i use vdm, i get the sound, but not the frame rate performance.

I have a 1.4 duron, 512 megs pc 133 sdram, geforce fx 5200, and a fairly new MSI main board i got bout a year ago.

Also when i use my gamepad with it, it really slows it down; whether i use the joystick option in vdm or the joy to key logger i have.
