Hi,

When i try to play some VESA games
(Ascendancy, SimCity 2000) my mousepointer is
only able to move in small rectangle in the upper
left corner (aprox. 320x200 px). This only occurs
with VESA base Games, and only when I start them
with VDMSound. When started with Sound disabled
under plain DOS everythings fine...is there a possibility
to use another mousedriver instead of the built-in one ?
Or is there already a solution to this problem ?

forgot to mention, operating System is Windows 2000.

Try MOUSESET.

NOTE: MOUSESET won't necessarily work with all games.
Your only option then is to try to find a mouse option in the game, or play in low-resolution (until DosBox will support VESA and p-mode)
