I wonder what exactly does "killer.exe" which comes with MS-DOS 7.1 (China DOS Union)?
The program's author is Vincent Penquerc'h. I tried to search for info but hadnt find any. It even doesnt have the HELP switch or any parameters.
Have some clues?

That's kind of a watchdog for killing processes that causes invalid opcodes.
