There isn't much out there about this card, at least not in English. I posted a write-up and a few recordings at http://tenorman.info/pc/soundmangames. If anyone has any other information they would like to add please let me know. I'd be especially interested in things like box, manual, or magazine article scans.

Pardon me if it's against etiquette to resurrect such an old post, but I thought I'd share some images I'd taken off of my Logitech Soundman Games box etc.

I know the image of the Install Guide and Manual are pretty useless by themselves, but I thought I'd share them anyway.

If someone's interested in knowing more, I'm happy to elaborate if I can. I haven't actually used the card since latter half of the 90's, but can't remember having any issues with the card.

I just acquired this sound card a little while ago and been happy with it so far, however doesn't seem to support 44kHz rate at least in Heroes 1 though, maybe the game uses stereo and the Jazz8 chip is limited to higher rates in mono only after all? This card was included in a sound card round-up in Finnish computer magazine Mikrobitti and it got praised for being a budget choice with an excellent game support and 16-bit 44kHz sampling, so maybe I'm just missing something?

If the manual has any explanation for the CDROM/CDA0... etc. jumpers and whether the output is amplified or if there's a way to switch it, I'd be interested in those 😀

Based on what I could find around the place, the Jazz8 is essentially a SB Pro 2 compatible chip which means 22Khz stereo or 44Khz mono. A separate 44Khz/16bit stereo codec had to be added for higher rates like the AudioWave/Edison Platinum 16.

The material posted above also only mentions SB Pro compatibility.
