Following on from my 'Mystery Meat' Thread ..
I also found some boxes of Floppies ..
and there were a lot ..
Mostly Original Microsoft Discs ..
Sadly some sets are incomplete ..
But so far I have sorted what I assume to be a full set of Win95 installation floppies in Black ..
I sort of assumed they were _always_ in beige.
23 floppies in all ..22 plus the boot floppy.
I may have to manufacture floppies for the missing disks in the boxes..
Win 3.1 is represented ...as is Windows for workgroups 3.11
Office and Word and Excell ...but again incomplete.
There are lots of other floppies without labels ..though I think I might have a chance of completing'Descent'
we shall see..

Currently sorting another ..presumably earlier Win95 ..
A 14 disk set in beige..
Sadly disk 5 is missing ..but the boot floppy is present.
can't win 'em all

Does anyone know how many floppies made up an 'office installation' ? version 4.2
the ones I have number up to 25 ...but sadly disks 1 and 2 are missing ..

Interestingly ..according to the timeline ,only shows a version 4.2 for The MAC OS ..which predates win95 by about 8 months.

It comes on 25 disks ...and I just found the label for disk 25 ..and 2 possible floppies that it may have fallen off.
..and was for win 3.X
this is like being a detective..🤣

Just rescued 'OUTRUN' from one of those floppies ..
Which colour wise doesnt look great on the T3200sx ..on account it is CGA..
but still ..it plays.

25 for Office and two additional ones - forgot what was on those.

Location: Australian but living in the UK for now

Found Office 4.3 in a server room once. Grabbed them because why not? Earliest I'd seen before then was Office 95.
Was stoked when I found out it was he final version to support Win3x. Less so when 2 disks had errors, In the end I "found" a copy on the internet which I used to complete the set again.
and must be something about the glue MS used, a few of my labels are falling off as well. Most of my other (mostly driver) disks are fine?
