Whenever I try to use VDMSound on Master of magic it says that I have insufficient memory (impossible). If I try to use DosBox on the game, it just makes the sound all distorted and off-beat.

How can I make the game work with VDMSound?

Thanks a lot for any help 😀

Hey,

I was having the exact same problem and here's what I did to fix it.

Create the VDMSound icon, then go under properties, choose advanced, then compatability.

Under the compatability tab, UN-check "Enable DPMI support (DOSX)" and UN-check "Enable CLI/POPF workaround."

Check the soundcard settings under VDMSound, then run the install program using VDMSound and manually set your soundcard. It finally loaded for me a few minutes ago.

Good luck!

Hi

I just managed to get Master of Magic working on an XP computer (finally!) but there is still no sound.

I tried to to what you said but I still can't find the advanced button. Where is it?

I'm a complete moron when it's comes to this kind of stuff, so I need help!

Thanks,

Christiaan
