Has anyone found an active converter that allows for modern hardware such as keyboards, mice, and USB KVMs without native PS/2 compatibility to be converted down to PS/2 for older machines?

Basically this:
USB peripheral --> PS/2 connector

And in my case, its worse as my KVM only has a single USB connector, so I would need this:
female USB --> male PS/2 keyboard + male PS/2 mouse connectors

Well, I may have found a way, but its far from ideal.
I'll try using in intermediary KVM switch with PS/2/USB capability, where it allows you to connect modern USB mice/keyboards to the KVM, but the KVM can interface with legacy PS/2 machines as well as USB-equipped devices.

I'll you know if this works. Its messy, but if its the only way...
