I have a Lucky Star i5-VX1E motherboard and I am trying to install some faster SDRam its max capacity for the two banks is a total of 128MB and since this is a Pentium with MMX capable mobo shouldnt it be able to use PC100 or PC133? If I use 100MHz or 133MHz it will only see 16MB each for both sticks and ive tried 64MB, 32MB and one x 128MB stick the only way to see the full amount is to use 66MHz ram, its got an intel chip set.

This is not about the frequency. Name suggests that this is motherboard based on 430VX chipset, so you have to find so called "low density" (16MBit) RAM.
More chips on it, greater chance to work. http://www.pchardwarelinks.com/chipsets_pentium.htm
