Hi all,
I've only recently started using VDMSound but I have one big problem. I'll try to explain. I own two very old games, Realms of the Haunting and Phantasmagoria II, and to make sure i don't ruin the cds i made iso images on my hard drive (which is perfectly legal, at least here in Italy). I use daemon tools to read the isos, and Vdmsound to run the game, but here's the catch: everything works perfectly until I try to change CDs... at that point, I can play no more. The trouble is that to change Cd i need to use the windows key which calls for the desktop: from there I load the other Iso on daemon tools, and theorically should go back to the game to continue. But after I hit the windows key and go back to dekstop, there is no way to get back to the game: if I just click on the minimized game icon, it pops out a black window with information about VDMsound (I suppose it is the same stuff that you get when the game starts, just before loading up).
I'm sorry if I was not clear, but this little problem just isn't allowing me to play some of my favorite games... if you could help, I'd be grateful

Did you try to burn these images to disc, and swap discs?

What happens then?

It should work, however I don't know if Realms of the Haunting and Phantasmagoria II have any kind of protection (Securom etc). If they do, then the copies would not run at all... Daemon Tools automatically disables copy protections, so I should try before I know. I'll give it a shot as soon as I get some new discs
