My FIC 486-VIP-IO motherboard that I just got recently seems to be missing something. It has holes labeled RN18, RN19 and RN20 where based on the manual you are suppose to put something to choose which type of cpu you are going to put on the board. Like for example you should insert something in RN19 if you want to install dx4 cpu.

The attachment holes.jpg is no longer available

Is there any way to get whatever is missing there or is the motherboard useless because of that?

From your description and picture I would say jumper pins are missing. Now it may be because the VRM components needed to use different voltage processors is missing as well. 5v vs 3.3v

Its just a jumper/ 0 ohm resistor pack.

Where I can get those?

Replace with 4 loops of solid wire. See here
This works for a quick test. The more elegant solution (beside finding a 0 ohm pack) would involve this

Did I understand correctly that not all the holes are suppose to be connected to each other and you only connect ones next to each other in pairs?

Absolutely. I have the 486-VIP-IO and I've just measured the part (Yageo 8B000J). It's exactly 4 individual jumpers (0 ohm resistors) in line.
