The Roland Sb-55 uses a Chinon floppy drive FX-354, this is a720K DD unit, mine seem to have gone bad and for the sounds of it it might be the floppy drive unit (don't know for sure but I am guessing) These Fz-354 seems hard to find. Does any know if the Roland SB-55 can work with other Double Density floppy drives?. Or any knows knows where to find these Chinon floppy drive FX-354?

Would such a unit accept this USB Floppy emulator that is being used in, for example, Amiga's?

Yes, I read in another post that eh HXC SD slim has been proven to work, this uses an SD card, the SB-55 has the floppy unit behind the front panel of the unit, this means that I might get the SD card in but looks like once in it might not be easy to access to get it back unless I use some tweezers?
see image to help illustrate what I mean
