I've read in many places that sound for dos under XP doesn't work, yet for me that doesn't seem to be the case.

For some reason it 'does' detect and use sound under dos (Using a SoundBlaster Live! sound card)

The problem I seem to be having is I'm unsure if there's any change in sound quality or use, for that matter, when I use VDMsound. The quality seems to be the same as it is without it (real choppy on videos and most of the time extremely choppy when there are alot of pixels being changed on the screen at once) and am unsure if it's just a setting I don't have or something else entirely.

Any ideas?
