Hello All,

I am having an issue installing SC2000 onto my DOS machine and I am also getting a similar memory problem when trying to run wolf3d as well. The error I am getting states "Your computer has -32768 K of installed RAM and SM2000 needs at least 4 MB..." This is confusing since I have 32MB of RAM installed. I am also only running DOS 6.22 with CDROM and Creative Sound Blaster Vibra16S running for audio. I am just starting out with DOS gaming with some of the old games I used to play as a kid. Any help on how to deal with this would be great! The machine I am using is a Pentium MMX 200MHz, the motherboard is a Soyo SY-5BT socket 7. Attached is a screenshot of the error.

Thank you.

Try again with less RAM (or the same amount with smaller SIMM/DIMMs).

Or run the game directly from Windows 95/98/98SE.

Thank you. I'll have to buy some smaller ram then because I only have two sticks of 16MB simm. I believe I have to install them in pairs. I tried just installing 1 16MB stick and I get a hangup and PC speaker tone.

That's only a harmless installer warning message. The game should still work.
