I'm extremely new to this and haven't a clue on how to get this to work. Recently upgraded to Windows2000 from 98 and Darklands no longer supports sound under 2000. Found this program but I don't know how to get it to work, and the FAQ and ReadMe doesn't explain anything.

I apologize if this has been asked a million times but there's no Darklands specific FAQ regarding VDMS.

I double click the VDMS loader prorgram and loads the text windows and says it's installed correctly.

However, when I run the Install for Darklands to configure my sound everything's still grayed out.

I'm probably missing something obvious or doing something completely wrong. Can someone tell me what to do? The ReadMe and FAQ doesn't explain anything, just says to run the installer... which doesn't help since I've done that already.

I also don't know how to get the GUI program to work. That also says to just install it. *shrug* There's no exe to run.
