So, I have a situation where I have been trying my damnedest to get Shadows of the Empire working, and while there’s the normal issues of things like my Voodoo 3 running the game too well for it to work right at 640x480, I have found myself unable to view the cutscenes correctly regardless of me having Direct Video toggled on or off. I am working in Windows 98se, and when I have Direct Video enabled, I get what looks like improper interlacing going on. There are a few examples of this on the forums already, but I haven’t found a solution there. When I have the option toggled off, the videos look like this:

If push comes to shove, I can just mess around with the GoG version on my XP machines or even play the N64 version, but I would very much like to play it here, just for the sake of it.
