Hi everyone.

I own a voodoo 3 3000 AGP from yesteryear. I was building a retro gaming pc and upon startup, I noticed artifacts with the video card. Upon closer inspection I noticed two missing components , both of which are capacitors. One of them had the ratings mentioned on it and I managed to replace it. The other one is an SMD capacitor and Iam unable to find out its rating in order to get a replacement. Its numbered as "C84"

Ive attached the image of the gpu with the missing components encircled in red. If anyone knows the ratings please drop a reply... Thanks a ton.

Greetings,

C84 is a 100nF bypass cap, but it has hardly anything to do with artifacting, a more likely culprit is cracked solder joints under the GPU.

I've done a similar repair job in the past: Trash to Treasure side project: Voodoo 3 3000 Restoration

I replaced C94 with a 0.1uF 16V 0603 and it worked perfectly.

C95 is a 10uF 16V SMD Electrolytic as labelled on the part.

Both are fairly common.
