I connected today on my Cyrix PC the Eizo Flexscan L23 monitor. The problem is that i don't have full screen in dos. I tried/played with the adjustments of the monitor but nothing. I managed only to have full screen in windows 98. In ms-dos prompt (full screen alt+enter) the graphics are in one small window, the same in pure dos, even when the computer boots. Any ideas?

DOS boots into text mode @720*400. I guess the scaler in your monitor does not support scaling for that resolution but rather displays it in original size plus black borders.

Just checked and found an EZIO document stating your monitor does not support full screen mode for 720*400.

This is no good because it is a thin nice 12" monitor which leaves lot of space on the desk. I want to put next to my Cyrix Pc the Macintosh Performa 6116. Is there any lcd or tft monitor 12"-14" that has nice quality on dos games for resolution 320x200 and 640x480? Or should i stay with sony trinitron crt 15"?
