I have been thoroughfully testing the write combining feature that ships under the advanced options tab for the screen properties (troubleshooting) in Windows XP (my bios also supports it, but have it disabled by default) and i've found out that, yes, write combining improves agp bus transfers by "combining" or merging smaller 8 and 16bit wide calls into 32bit ones. Anyway, i have also noticed that general video output is faster but also JERKIER; sometimes the mouse feels like accelerating itself and so on.

I'd like to hear your oppinions on this matter. They would be appreciated.
