Has anyone tried to run this old DOS game under XP? I had to trick the installer just to bypass the copy protection. I run VDMSound and start the game. It loads something written for the game, Flashsound, by the game creators, Flashpoint Productions, defunct. It locks up and I'm forced to close the window to kill it.

Oops! It actually closes the DOS session. It only locks up when I run UNIVBE set up for a generic VGA card, since I can't find a VESA driver for my nVidia card.

UNIVBE is the worst thing ever created. Ever. Scitech should still be kicking themselves about it. Try running the game with a /NOUNIVBE switch.
