It seems that this huge beast was hidden in one of two G5 Mac's I had in the garage.

I've cleaned it up a bit:

The attachment 6800U_Apple.JPG is no longer available

It's an AGP-Pro card, and has no extra Molex connectors (which the PC-version has).

I am wondering if:

- the AGP-Pro slot is providing sufficient power for this card to work (and as such, the ADC proprietary Apply powermac-connector is not needed)
- any 6800 Ultra PC rom can be flashed onto this card

Has anybody any experience with this card?

Update: nvflash does not see the card in my P4C800-E, although it's heating up and the fan periodically spins up.

I guess it's a no go for this card.

Yeah thats the sense of AGP Pro, it delivers more current, thats why it has extra Pins.

You can desolder ROM and put it inside a TL866 Rom Burner. External Writing always is a Option 😉

It maybe had a chance on a AGP-Pro motherboard, definitely not into a normal AGP 😀

ASUS P4C800-E is AGP Pro board.

I'll keep the card in storage. I don't feel too comfortable desoldering the rom. I'd have trouble identifying the right chip, for starters 😀.
