This totally not an Ignition reskin of a game has a problem with dgVoodoo, if 3D acceleration is enabled in game options and you hit Esc while ingame to go back to the menu, the game just crashes. It doesn't do this when ran with DXGL, DxWnd or Peixoto's patches (natively it can't go ingame at all).

To install the game I just used universal extractor since the installer failed, other than that there's nothing that needs to be done other than copy dgVoodoo files, start game, enable 3D acceleration, start a race and try going to the menu.

This game isn't one I particularly care about, and I don't know if there are any who do, and there is already another working way of forcing resolution (Peixoto's patches), so it's not important in anyway, but if you're in a compatibility fixing mood sometime...

Thanks for the feedback! I had a quick look at and fixed it.

Looking more at this game I noticed another weird thing. There's these black lines in the ground. At first I thought it was just the game's shitty rendering engine, then I compared with DxWnd/Peixoto, and the ground looks much better with those solutions than with dgVoodoo/DXGL. Trying the different emulated cards made no difference.

The game feeds D3D with transformed vertices and the positions are undoubtedly rounded to integers. That's why it looks and feels like TR1 for example.
I don't know if that's removed in Peixoto patch.

I think (I'm very unsure of this though) DxWnd and Peixoto's patches both essentially leave the rendering to the GPU drivers / Windows.
