Hi. I downloaded the vdms and tried it out with a few old games, such as dune 2, monkey island i-ii. It worked just fine, but all of these games went about 1.5-2 times slower than normally. I got a 600 MHz processor, i hope it's not the problem that it is too slow. I use windows 2000.

What can this be? What can be done?

The problems is Windows' crappy DOS timer emulation.
Look on the SPEEDSET forum for the latest version of SPEEDSET, it will fix your problems for most games.

Or use DOSBOX (http://dosbox.cjb.net/).
