Ahh Ok my russian is not the best but looks like it closely splits the Amps draw off both 5v and 12v Molex rails, 2.5A and 3.5A plus a minimal off the AGP slot supplies. That is actually a Good thing. Most PSU made back then had good 5v and 12v rails. Would think any that had a combined 130watt+ would work OK as long as you were not pushing other things like a bad-ass socket A.
The card I have is an MSI FX 5900 (non ultra) with 128MB . I can only imagine its power delivery system is similar to that of the ultra .
The reason I was looking for this info is because I plan on changing PSUs from a 15-year old Enermax EG465P-VE with 35A each on 3.3v and 5v rails and 200W max combined to a new Corsair RM850x with 25A each on the 3.3v and 5v rails and 150W max combined . I do not believe I will have any issues as the FX 5900 (at load) is the heaviest power drain on the system . CPU TDP should be about 32.2 W according to Intel , Voodoo 3 should be about 15W . The rest should not be very demanding .
The machine specs are as follows :
- Pentium 3 Tualatin-S @1400MHz with 512K L2 cache
- Ipox 3ETI23 industrial motherboard (815EP-based with 3 ISA slots and onboard Fast Ethernet)
- 512 MB (2x256) of PC133 SDRAM
- MSI AGP Nvidia FX 5900 128MB
- 3Dfx Voodoo 3 3000 (PCI)
- generic SIL3114 SATA controller
- 1TB Seagate 7200RPM SATA drive (with 4 partitions, each smaller than 127GB and rest unpartionned)
- 500MB Samsung 860EVO SSD (soon)
- 5 and 1/4" floppy drive
- 3 and 1/2" floppy drive
- LG GSA-4167 DVD-ROM drive
- Gravis Ultrasound Ultralsound 3.73 with 1 MB RAM
- Creative AWE64 Value with 28MB RAM (thanks to SIMMCONN revival)
- Mediatrix Audiotrix 3DXG (OPL3SA) with Monster Midi 4MB GS rev. B daughterboard (for SB Pro compatibility and authentic embedded OPL3)
- 3 x 120MM fans
