I was thinking that it would be nice if Launchpad could point to the GliDos files to unify VDMSound/GliDos.

While it would be even better for GliDos/VDMSound to be one package, I think it would be more feasible to have an equivalent of the GliDos GUI in Launchpad to point to GliDos if installed....

Did you consult with the programmers of these tools about the viability of this idea?

I won't pay for VDMSound, although I would donate - it's too late now anyhow, VDMSound is open-source... Paul charges for GliDOS (which I would pay, too, but he promised me something. 😉 )

I'd prefer for the programmers to figure out how VDMSound and GliDOS could work best when together, and best when separate.
