I haven't checked this site in a long time and I still have the latest version. is it going to be updated again or is the project dead? Later.

Search before asking anything... You would have found out: VDMSound is no longer developed, sources are available if anyone is interested in them ...
IMHO the future is in full emulation (DOSBOX).
