EDIT short version: do anyone knows about any incompatibilities on older 386 UMC based boards of the late GD5429 ISA video cards? I got corrupted text sometimes on screen, strange crash, I've no option to slow down the general timings in the bios but usually other vga card works ok. Do some dos program exist to test video card ram memory like memtest to exclude a faulty dram module?
The card sometimes works ok in games but sometimes make crash the audio card output for example or going back to dos I got corrupted text.. it doesn't happens with an ATi Wonder ISA card.
