I have a couple of CDROM drives of which the belt that operates the tray mechanic has worn out. I had some success with elastic bands but they don't last long since they easily dry out. I guess the high carbon in the typical black belts prevents this a great deal.

I have found one seller on ebay that sells these things but there are no dimensions listed and he's charging $30 USD to ship to Australia (x2 the price of the item).

Does anyone has good options to fix CDROM drive belts?
