Hi guys,

So far I was using my Montego II without any issues on my SS7 system with Windows 98 SE. Via Amibay I bought a new digital I/O upgrade bracket and tried to get it running on my system. However, I cannot get it running.

Once I install the upgrade drivers Windows hangs upon booting. I get to see the cursor and the green background but then it freezes. If I plug the Montego II into another PCI slot Windows boots so far as it detects a new hardware, asks for driver installation and after installing the drivers again freezes when it restarts. So I guess somehow the drivers for the I/O upgrade are somehow bugged.

Does anyone else have the same issue? Any ideas how to fix it or a workaround?

Also what I am trying to understand is the difference between the Montego II home studio edition and my Mentego II with the I/O upgrade bracket purchaes seperately. Is it the same or are there any differences?
