hi just trying to get my pc speaker to work. On the motherboard 386pc it has 4 pins. Voltage pin 1 is 5v and pin 2-4 are zero volts. Ive tried another separate speaker just in case main one is broken. When i measure voltage of + and - of speaker it has 5v and resistance is low like 0.5 ohm. I have tried many pin positions but no sound.
I have amibios 13.19.02 1993 and looked for a setting to turn on pc speaker.
I found and installed win 3.1 pc speaker driver and ran the test button but no sound.
Ideally like to get it working in dos environment.
I also ran a dos mode game setup to select the pc speaker but when i ran the gme sound came out the soundblaster pro speaker.
I haven't tried taking out the sound card?
