Okay, I don’t know where else to ask this, but there’s a game I vaguely remember playing in my youth, who’s name I cannot for the life of me remember.
I played the game back in circa 1986, and I’m pretty sure it was a PC, as opposed to an Amiga or Apple, or whatever else was available at the time.
The game’s basic premise: You are an archiologist, or adventurer or something like that, who goes about exploring an ancient pyramid. There are only two things I remember about the game. The first screen involved your guy (about 2 inches high, say? and your basic stick figure) going down into a pyramid. And I remember my friend and I would frequently get stuck in dead-ends, where quicksand would slowly rise from some kinda pipe, and drown us.
It may also have involved Wombats, but then again, that could just be a different game I’m confusing in.
I don’t remember if this was a text adventure-type game, with accompanying ansi graphics, or if it was a explor-action game.
Does anybody even vaguely remember this game, and what it was called?
