I love the idea of having multiple minimal retro builds (probably all ATX) like this on a desk but enclosed in acrylic. Building those cases will be one challenge, but I'm looking ahead to see if anyone uses a solution to share one PSU with multiple builds.
For my purposes, it wouldn't have to be able to power multiple machines simultaneously. I more imagine 3 or 4 computers on a desk with a 4-port KVM switch plus some sort of 4-port PSU switcher that can be switched to send power to any one of the machines from a PSU that's mounted out of sight below the desk. That way the minimalist builds can shine and the focus is solely on the hardware in them with no cases or PSUs obstructing the view.
Does anyone have a PSU sharing solution, or a similar setup with multiple minimalist custom or non-traditional cases?
