I´m trying to put Tie Fighter sound to work. Digital effects seems to be ok, but whennever it tries to play the midi music it plays for a sec or two, and starts a small loop of the music. The computer crashes with this happening. I´ve been trying to work on the vdms ini, but still no success. I tryed all types of midi devices available in the tie fighter install (adlib, gm, awe32...) none work yet. Some warnings I´ve been getting in the vdms log are:

Unable to further boost DMA processing rate, lower bound already met
(lower bound = 2ms, last period = 2.40ms, current period = 2.00ms

@W - 00:06:18.343 - SB Controller
HandleTransfer: DMA updates too infrequent (unable to keep up with
desired transfer rate), requesting boost

@W - 00:06:19.326 - SB Controller
Attempted to read from write-only port (IN 0x226)

@W - 00:09:03.311 - SB Controller
set8BitIRQ(): an IRQ is already pending

But I´m afraid none have to do with the midi probleman. Still, some insight on these would be appreciated as well.
