Hey everyone! I came in to possession of this Amrel SLT486D Laptop a few years back at a thrift store. It unfortunately does not have the power supply (which is the main reason I'm posting here). However, after I started researching it I came to realize that there is next to no information about this machine on the internet. The closest lead I found is a guy over on the Thinkpad forums who has a slightly revised version with a DX-2 66 (mine is a DX 33). https://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=125534

From what I can tell Amrel still exists as a company and they seem to specialize in rugged laptops. Their website mentions that they've been in business since 1985, but there seems to be very little records of that from what I can gather.

So if anyone has any info on this laptop that would be wonderful. If anyone could dig up a lead on a power supply or potentially the pinout for the somewhat odd 4 pin connector that would be highly appreciated. I'll include some pictures of my machine that also list the voltage for the power supply. This machine is in wonderful condition and I would really like to get it running.

Also should I at all be worried about the potential of a CMOS battery that could potentially leak inside? I'd rather not open the machine if possible due to it's excellent condition, but I also don't want to risk the motherboard being destroyed. I can also upload more photos of the machine in case anyone wants a better look.

Figured I'd go ahead and add some more pictures including the rear I/O, HDD, and top expansion door which I assume is housing some sort of memory expansion. This machine also has a built in modem which is pretty cool for the time. Also that massive dock connector looks pretty awesome, though I'll probably never find one.
