Hey guys,

I recently installed a voodoo 3 2000 into my pentium iii 600 vintage win 98 pc. It works great however I've noticed that I never get the 3dfx splash screen when I run programs using glide api. I have the splash .dll's in the system folder but for some reason I'm not getting the splash screen.

Any thoughts?

Which driver do you use? Because with some drivers in the 3dfx panel the splash screen seems to be disabled.

Builds:

Xp3000+ gf3 ti200 + vd2 SLI 12MB + 768MB + SB live @ WinXP & 98 Dualboot.

P2 350mhz + Diamond Viper V550 + 3Dfx Voodoo 2 12MB + AWE64 + 128MB SDR @ msdos / win98.

I'm using Drivers labeled:

Voodoo3(tm) Driver kit: 1.07.00-WHQL

From Nov 2000.
